ABOUT ME
Hi there!
I was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to Hawaii when I was 10. I fell in love with journalism after watching a weather report in third grade.
It's been a humbling experience to be able to share stories across the state every day. Journalism is a fun career as no workday is ever the same.
On my days off, I enjoy exploring new restaurants with friends and family. If you have a suggestion, send me a message!

24 million meals a year
Published in Hawai‘i Business magazine - April, 2017
I have mostly fond memories of eating during my eight years in the public school system. In fact, I ate more than 400 meals at three cafeterias, but students who eat two meals each school day from kindergarten through grade 12 would consume almost 5,000 meals during their school years. The steps leading to those meals is quite a process and it all starts with planning the menus and deciding what kids will be scarfing down every school day.
